"Bunch of Flowers with Pansies in Faïence Vase"

EUGENE CAUCHOIS (1850-1911) who signed his works M. VIALATTE, painter of the circle of the Impressionists. Several of his still lives are exhibited in various museums in Normandy.

This painting of particular importance for the rare faïence vase which is from the special production of Montigny-sur-Loire, an Art Studio active for 13 years recruiting famous painters as decorators, with exceptional creations rewarded at the World Exhibitions in Paris. This picture comes from a private collection in Bordeaux.
