Italian School, late 19th century "Playful Old Men" Oil on canvas signed by Jules Zermati, member of the circle of Eugenio Zampighi. He was specialized in "every day" scenes and portraits, particularly of elderly people. The beauty and success of his work reside in his ability to depict true emotions on the faces of his subjects.
