France, dated 1874
These two unique pieces in original condition, desk and credenza, are
dated with an inside label by the cabinet-maker who manufactured them
on commission for the library of the owner of a private château
along La Loire, in a superb quality ebonized walnut decorated with a unique
marquetry in different fruitwoods and edged with bone parquetry, the credenza
with its original marble top.
